Martha Reeves & The Vandellas

Martha Reeves and the Vandellas found fame in the 1960's with a string of hit singles on Motown's Gordy label. The group's string of hits included 'Come and Get These Memories', '(Love Is Like a) Heat Wave', 'Quicksand', 'Nowhere to Run', 'Jimmy Mack', 'Bless You' and 'Dancing in the Street', the latter song becoming their signature single. The group charted over twenty-six hits including ten songs inside the top ten of the Billboard R&B singles chart, including two R&B number ones, and six Top Ten Pop Hits on the Billboard Hot 100. In 1996 they became the second ever all-girl group to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and were named as one of 100 greatest artists of all time by Rolling Stone.
